Beosound 9000 on Floor Stand
Beosound 9000 is an iconic audio system. It was a pioneer design product, including advanced functions at the time. Bang & Olufsen launched Beosound 9000 in 1996. Since then, up to 1011 it was part of the Bang & Olufsen products’ collection.
Beosound 9000 feeatures radio tuner AM/FM and a CD player with 6 CDs in a raw. Its operation is via the embended touch control or the BEO4 remote control.
It is connected to the Bang & Olufsen active speakers via a Power Link cable.
According to legend, Lewis’ idea to display six CDs linearly as the design for Beosound 9000 came to him as he walked past a record store in London which had laid out six CDs in a row in the window.
